Customer Support Specialist - Garden Grove, CA

Job Summary

Firm is looking for a Customer Support Specialist to join our team in California. This individual would be based in our new Garden Grove facility and will be responsible for assisting sales generation; taking inbound calls and making outbound calls to prospects and existing customers, process online orders, and assist customers through online chat. Additionally, this person will ensure the Company's ERP software is updated to reflect all activities associated with the sales and order process for all assigned territories.

Examples of Essential Functions:

  • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Survey the industry and target specific accounts by utilizing published regulatory databases, trade journals/magazines, and other media outlets

  • Work to ensure CRM system is updated and orders are processed

  • Build relationships with cannabis growers, processors and retailers

  • Answer inbound calls assess and handle or transfer to the appropriate party

  • Answer customer questions via online chat

Qualifications Guidelines



  • 2-3 years of progressive sales and/or customer service experience

  • History of working successfully in a fast-paced team environment

  • Professional demeanor

  • College degree a plus


Knowledge of:

  • Exceptional telephone skills

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong time management skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Experience in Excel / Word / Outlook / PowerPoint

  • Experience with a CRM desired

  • Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability


Physical Standards

  • This position requires frequently sitting, standing, reaching, walking, and operating a computer workstation

  • Must have finger dexterity, ability to use keyboard/ten key

  • Able to participate in the environments standing, moving onsite at events and tradeshows

  • Constantly sitting, standing, walking, and operating a computer workstation.

  • This position may rarely require kneeling, bending, squatting.

  • Reach, stoop and lift office files, records or reports, typically weighing 20 pounds or less.

  • Ability to push/pull up to 50 pounds

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
