Firm is looking for a Manager of Business Intelligence to work under the Director of Business Intelligence on the design and execution of our Business Intelligence product. A successful candidate in this space will have the ability to effectively problem solve, move quickly, think critically and have a background in statistics, analytics or business intelligence application. The Manager will interact closely with specific Business Unit stakeholders to understand their needs, identify solutions, and implement products that create value. The Manager of Analytics and insights will have the opportunity to do participate on a team doing groundbreaking work that will shape the industry.
The work will focus on delivering insights and analysis to drive decision making for specific Business Unit domains such as Marketing, Supply Chain, Retail Operations, Business Development, Finance & Planning, Manufacturing, Agriculture, Field Ops, Product Development, and Digital Platforms & Customer Experience. Work under the Director of Business Intelligence executing and implementing a comprehensive business intelligence program including products including:
Business Unit Level BI Roadmap
Relevant POV Development
Relevant Vendor Evaluation & Implementation
Present actionable analytics and future recommendations
Help define business unit metrics and KPIs; align these to global organization metrics & KPIs
Heavily hands on with reporting and dashboarding development as the bulk of the remit
On-time completion of sell through related reporting
Reporting accuracy and analysis insights
Identify opportunities to deploy/partner with Data Science, Intelligence Enablement and Consumer/Market Insights discipline leads
Develop high-quality documentation and governance to ensure our analytics platform contains high quality, managed data that is easy to consume.
Develop insights and recommendation on best in industry business intelligence opportunities
Automate and streamline processes while minimizing human intervention
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Ability to translate business questions into problems solvable by using analytics tools, with the skill to read between the lines to find the question behind the question.
Ability to quickly understand which data is used by which business processes and what the data means in the context of these specific processes
Ability to assess disparate technologies, data sources and business processes and clearly communicate them to executives and execution team
Working experience in visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau as well as temporary hacks in Excel.
Experience story telling in the form of decks, emails or similar.
Working experience successfully implementing BI, Statistics, Research and/or Advanced Analytics Solutions
Working familiarity with upstream data producers such ETL, data architecture and instrumentation
Some experience with analytics and data tools (R, SQL, Python, SAS, MatLab, SPSS etc.).
Some experience in analytics across merchandising, retail marketing, digital media and consumer trends is a plus
Previous experience working at a Startup and/or Ecommerce business is a plus
Ability to think and pivot quickly, a strong ability to deal with ambiguity

Ability to work effectively with cross-functional business and technical teams
Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, with strong teamwork, interpersonal and influencing skills

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Regular, predictable attendance is required; including quarter-driven hours as business demands dictate.
Regular 8 hour shifts, 5 days a week.
As needed, not to exceed 15% travel.
Required Education and Experience
4+ years of relevant experience.
Bachelor’s degree in related field
