Job Summary

 

We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated Operations Master Data Management Analyst to join our team in Garden Grove, CA that is willing to take on the responsibility of data management at the company-level purchasing. This individual would be responsible for ensuring data accuracy within the ERP system, creating and analyzing various reports to assist in continuous improvement in conjunction with company objectives, working closely with Supply Chain Manager to enhance cost savings and operational efficiencies to support Sales and Corporate Initiatives.

Examples of Essential Functions:

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

 

  • Creates various reports for senior management as requested

  • Responsible for managing workflows and requests for all item master and Bill of Material (BOM) creations, changes and maintenance

  • Manages item and recipe master

  • Supports technical and program review meetings

  • Creates and maintains comprehensive documentation to enable adherence to a consistent methodology

  • Passionate about continuous learning and serves as an effective change agent while accomplishing key initiatives

  • Works with multiple service providers, vendors and stakeholders

  • Identify areas for data quality improvements and help to resolve data quality issues through process control / improvement and error detection / correction

  • Collaboration with cross functional departments in the development of the company's master data management business rules and processes in support of operational efficiency

  • Ensures an efficient and successful change management process by defining and documenting on-going process changes

  • Conducts data cleansing to identify unused and/or duplicate data for better management and quicker access

 

 

Qualifications Guidelines

 

Education/training/experience:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or similar quantitative focus

  • 4+ years of successful experience in financial analysis and reporting

  • 3+ years of data management experience

  • Interprets and explains complex data/analytics; make decisions on a variety of complex matters in accordance with established procedures

  • General understanding of the supply chain including logistics, vendor management, and inventory management

  • Strong analytical, data-driven thinking and is pro-active against deadlines

  • Self-motivated to learn and contribute to the success of the team

  • Communicates effectively in both oral and written form
