Job Summary:

The Production Coordinator is part of our project management team, supporting our production line by providing key tasks associated with several different services we provide. This person will act as our resident specialist supporting and providing work on projects involving print/design assets and package research. This position acts as a point of contact for client, account and project managers to field and fulfill requests for information and service.

The responsibilities of this role are to effectively streamline client and project manager requests for specific types of information or services. This candidate will be working with our talented team of designers, primarily on print/design related work, package materials / design research and prototyping support. The position will develop and maintain a sample library of packaging and labeling options and produce standard selection cost quotes.

This role balances the company's relationship with the client and internal project teammates. It is expected to work side by side with an internal Account Manager and a Sales Support Specialist to assist with client communications and service. The position is expected to provide updates on work via weekly reports that recap internal project hours, and other relevant metrics that provide insight surrounding the status of the projects in the production line and will inform management of project blocking issues and work in real time to establish solutions.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Print / Package Materials Sourcing and Quoting

  • Proof Checking/Q&A

  • Project Management/Coordination

  • Wordpress Site Editing

  • Upload/update content items

  • Assist in the development of, and provide maintenance for:

    • Package / Design Samples

    • Quotes / Product Display

    • Accurate activity reporting

    • Overall project support as requested

Qualifications Guidelines


  • Must be Mac proficient

  • Familiar with current office software such as iWork or Office Suite, Google Drive, CRM software (HubSpot), Project Management software (TeamWork), slack (or other instant messaging), and other office tools

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite - with advanced knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign

  • Should be proficient in word processing, email communication, phone and text protocols, spreadsheets, and other forms of external and internal office communications

  • Comfortable working within print proofs, dye lines, mockups, renders, including strength in pre-press for high quality materials and specialty printing

  • 2-3 years of print production and/or packaging prototyping experience - sourcing materials, brokering jobs, Estimating/Quoting work, viewing/reviewing/approving proofs

  • Experience in the creative process for both traditional and digital space

  • Package Design experience a plus

  • Outstanding organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills (verbal/presentation/written)

  • Proven experience working with teams across multiple departments

  • Capable of developing price quotes with markups, reconciling invoices - estimates vs actual on print projects

  • Advertising / marketing or creative services agency experience is a big plus

  • A fundamental understanding of the emerging cannabis industry

  • Demonstrable ability to understand and work effectively through various requests and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Physical Standards:

  • This position requires frequently sitting, standing, reaching, walking, and operating a computer workstation

  • Must have finger dexterity, ability to use keyboard/ten key

  • Able to participate in the environments standing, moving onsite at events and tradeshows

  • This position may rarely require kneeling, bending, squatting

  • Reach, stoop and lift office files, records or reports, typically weighing 20 pounds or less
