Job Summary

Firm is looking for a hands-on Senior Technical Program Manager to lead the continued growth and improvement of our NetSuite ERP system and SuiteCommerce Advanced eCommerce platform.  This person will have a deep understanding of NetSuite's capabilities and work closely with business leaders to solve business challenges using ERP functionality and customization.  This person will also lead the continuous improvement projects with our eCommerce site, as well as lead implementations of addition eCommerce sites as needed by new or existing business units.

This person will build and directly manage a team focused on service desk, and systems analysis.  This person will also indirectly manage developer resources, when needed.



Examples of Essential Functions:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Maintain an advanced knowledge of the NetSuite platform and its capabilities

  • Take ownership of the NetSuite platform

  • Work with business teams to support best practices with data management and process utilization

  • Serve as liaison between IT, vendors, consultants, and business teams (sales, operations, finance)

  • Meet regularly with business leaders across multiple subsidiaries to understand how they are using the platform and determine how it can be improved

  • Pro-actively look for ways to create efficiencies and solve business problems using ERP functionality and customization

  • Work with other business leaders to maintain permissions and internal controls

  • Manage a service desk and adhere to SLAs

  • Create product documentation to support end users and to minimize support tickets

  • Interface with vendor to escalate issues

  • Gain a deep understanding of the platform's capabilities and staying current with each release so we can ensure we are using the system to its fullest potential

  • Work closely with the Senior IT Product Manager, Global WMS to maintain and improve the integration between the two platforms

  • Gather requirements, produce Functional Requirement Documents, and facilitate agreement and sign-offs from project stakeholders

  • Set priorities, manage resources, and adhere to project timelines

  • Work closely with lead developers to ensure business requirements are understood that projects are completed accordingly

  • Complete initial testing of new functionality and facilitate end-user testing

  • Continuously find ways to improve processes, execution, and delivery


Qualifications Guidelines 

  • Advanced experience with NetSuite & SuiteCommerce Advanced

  • Strong MS Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, Access

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively with business leaders as well as technical employees

  • Outstanding writing skills for business and technical documentation

  • Ability to manage issues through completion



  • 3-7 years' experience working with NetSuite ERP and SuiteCommerce Advanced

  • 3-7 years' experience working with business systems in the sales & distribution industry

  • BS degree in a technology or information systems related field

  • Strong understanding of sales & distribution process, planning, workflow, etc.
