Conduct sampling of incoming materials, arrange required testing and manage results.
Managing the supplier qualification program for the facility.
Reviewing and filing documentation for incoming materials and equipment including CoA’s, specification sheets, user manuals, etc.
Inspecting received items for damage/defects.
Working directly with the warehouse receiving team to maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
Other tasks within the Quality Department as required.
College or university degree in a scientific or engineering field.
Knowledge of GMP or GPP requirements.
Preferred previous experience in a quality role.
Experience with documentation and record keeping.
Strong computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat and Google applications.
Comfortable working in a deadline-driven and fast passed environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Forklift license and experience working in a material warehouse would be an asset.
This is a full-time position based out of Smiths Falls.
