Our Aldergrove location requires an overnight Sanitation Supervisor to assist with cleaning our post-harvest rooms and equipment. The candidate must be able to work independently, stand for long periods of time and prioritize their work effectively.
Overseeing a small team (4-6 employees), conduct the nightly sanitation tasks required to prepare the Post-Harvest facility for operations the following day. This includes, but is not limited to:
Attendance tracking for all direct reports
Delivery of training programs for all new team members
Learn, train, and reinforce all relevant Health and Safety expectations and consistently evaluate adherence to PPE requirements for all staff
Trim room sanitation: equipment / material sanitizing, floor scrubbing (manual + automatic), surface cleaning, clean storage.
Sanitation of packaging equipment and drying materials
Machine set up and staging in Trim Room
Working in the wash bay maintaining equipment
Conduct pre / post-inspections on all production equipment
Manage performance of team to ensure all requirements are met on a nightly basis
Logging activities and ensuring records are entered in timely fashion
Assist in other post-harvest duties when required
Other duties as assigned
Experience and Background
Ability to organize/prioritize workload
Impeccable record keeping and logging of daily activities
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and maintain production flow
Working experience of GAP, HACCP regulated environment preferred.
This is a full-time position night shift based out of Aldergrove, BC
