The Opportunity


Here’s the deal: we’re soon going to have 3 million sq. ft. of high-end, automated greenhouse space producing some of the best cannabis in the world across two sites in beautiful British Columbia. The Post-Harvest Supervisor is a central member of the Post-Harvest Team that works in conjunction with Managers, Lead Hands and other processing staff, serving as a key point of contact in the Trim Room and facilitating the safe, hygienic, and efficient processing of medical-grade cannabis. The Post-Harvest Supervisor is attentive to detail, able to maintain a safe, clean work space, follow standard operating procedures, and ensure they are being followed by others. The successful candidate will be an energetic self-starter with exceptional communication skills and an ability to deliver consistently high product quality.



  • Acts as the leader of the trim room staff and ensure the team executes their responsibilities safely, efficiently, and in a way that maintains exceptional product quality throughout the process.

  • Meets and exceeds production targets and remain in constant communication with the Post-Harvest Manager regarding variances from daily goals.

  • Ensures the daily instruction(s) received from the Post-Harvest Manager are being followed.

  • Ensures the trim and dry room’s are operating in accordance with all standard operating procedures, safety standards, and quality control directives.

  • In conjunction with the Post Harvest Lead Hand, oversees daily pre-inspections and post-inspections of all trimming equipment, tools, and materials.

  • Maintains the highest levels of cleanliness and sterility inside the production area.

  • In conjunction with the Post-Harvest Manager, administers training programs to trim room staff.

  • Oversees the daily logging of production room activities including, but not limited to, active processing, sanitation, general cleaning, surface testing, safety inspections, etc.

  • Demonstrates consistent attention to detail in all aspects of the trimming procedure.

  • Serves as a resource and point of contact for processing staff, paying specific attention to the health and safety requirements of workers in the processing facility.

  • Ability to work varied shifts in order to meet business requirements.

  • Other duties as assigned.      

Experience and Background

  • Must have meticulous attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated managerial experience.

  • Must be able to carry out repetitive tasks at a continuously high level of quality.

  • Experience working in either manufacturing or agricultural environment.

  • Ability to follow both written and oral instruction.

  • Ability to work in fast paced and growing environment.

  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, QMS is preferred

  • Working experience in GAP, HACCP regulated environment is preferred.
