Reporting to the Inventory Control Manager, the Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for organizing and leading inventory counts and investigating and reconciling inventory discrepancies. This individual must have superb organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.
Organize and lead inventory counts.
Verify and adjust inventory.
Compile inventory reports.
Implement and maintain a cycle count program.
Complete reconciliation of inventory after counts are completed. Ensure inventory movements are adequately reported in the system. Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Assist with projecting inventory levels over time based on production plan, product demand, inventory on hand, and external factors.
Forecast needs for consumables and packaging material. Ensure adequate safety stocks are maintained.
Move stock/items to appropriate locations and ensure that they are properly stored.
Coordinate and Integrate efforts across operational departments to enhance inventory accuracy.
Ascertain that all company safety and risk management procedures (pertaining to inventory control) are followed.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
Other duties as assigned.
Experience and Background
1-3 years’ experience in a similar role.
Experience with ERP (SAP).
Ability to organize/prioritize workload.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational skills.
Strong computer skills, specifically in excel.
This is a full-time position based out of Delta or Aldergrove, British Columbia.
